The Social Committee has scheduled the following gatherings for 2026:

May 21 – Pie Social at 3pm in the South Park Place cul-de-sac
Sept 18 – Cheesy Party at 4pm in the South Park Place cul-de-sac
December – Holiday Party which will hopefully be held at the Hendersonville Country Club

We are also looking to have some “field trips” as well.  Possibly a trip to Bullington Gardens to see their Fairy Trail in June,
as well as a possible gathering at Sol y Luna and/or a trip to a winery.

Pie Social – May 21, 3pm

On Thursday, May 21 join your neighbors in the South Park Place cul-de-sac at 3pm for the Laurel Park Place Pie Social!
Bring a chair, your beverage of choice, and/or your favorite pie/appetite. The pie can be homemade, from the store or bakery,
we just want to share!

We are also planning a cookbook exchange at this event. Bring whatever cookbooks you have collected but do not use, and
refresh your bookshelf with new finds. Any books not claimed will be donated to the Friends of the Library.

The Social Committee asks that you do not park on South Park Place out of respect for those who live there.
You can arrange to drop off your items to share with one of the Social Committee members – Norma Hoglander, Dale Pezzano,
Mary Lou Mangam, Elaine Smith, Nancy Meer, Ann Goff, or Jan Woodruff. If you cannot walk to the party, reach out to a committee
member to arrange a ride.  Rides back home (especially up the hill!) will be provided at the end of the party upon request.

Rain date is Friday, May 22. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
