Our Social Committee is in the process of planning events for 2026.  We will keep you informed about planned events.

Second Tuesday Gatherings

We are meeting every other month. So the last Second Tuesday Gatherings for the rest of 2025 was on October 14. No Gathering in December as we will be hosting our Holiday Party.  Thank you to all who have been attending and enjoying our get-togethers.

One of the wonderful things we have discovered from our monthly coffee gatherings is how many of our residents are involved with a variety of community groups. From community choirs, Art Guild, creating beautiful jewelry, fiber arts and many more, we are an involved and creative group. The Social Committee would like to highlight the endeavors of our residents so that we can support each other. We will not publish any names without permission.

For example, Janice Woodruff sings with the Carolina Concert Choir and they will be providing music at the Visitor’s Center on July 4 at 6pm.

Get Well and Sympathy Cards

The Social Committee sends Get Well and Sympathy Cards to residents and families on behalf of the Laurel Park Place HOA when we are aware of warranting circumstances.  Please inform Ann Goff at 813-892-6053 or email agoff2@verizon.net if you know of someone who could be cheered or remembered.  Please include address data for recipients..
